Taking the next step in Eastbourne and its digital sector, as a student

Eastbourne is a perfect place for young people like you or me to visit and live in.

With a packed Beacon Shopping Centre, boredom is a thing of the past. All and every crevice of the city can be zealously explored. Alongside the British coastline sits three of the most revered nature preserves in the Seven Sisters, Birling Gap and the South Downs National Park. Inside Eastbourne, there is greenery on every road, corner and crossing in an effort to keep in touch with its natural surroundings. In the heart of Eastbourne, there is the Beacon Shopping Centre, with a developed town centre bursting with shops and activity - truly a good home for a determined digital worker.

Alongside all this, Eastbourne often hosts festivals and events which attract thousands of people from across the world, including Eastbourne DigiFest on September 22nd (with free student tickets included!).

Eastbourne DigiFest, specifically, is a fantastic introduction for anyone into Eastbourne’s digital market, experienced or not, with speakers and exhibitors hailing from many local businesses and colleges like Bexhill Sixth Form, TechResort and Switchplane. The digital field is exploding within Eastbourne, with now being a better time than ever to involve yourself in the tech industry. Many organisations are hosting general coding and tech clubs and introductions, and for those who already have their hands dirty in the field, the job market is exploding within this coastal town.

Organisations like Chalk Eastbourne ease the entry for all kinds of technological enthusiasts ranging from complete beginners to computer masters, by not only providing routes into the online workforce but by educating the younger students in the area.

No matter who you are, where you are from or what you're going to do, Eastbourne will embrace you in its loving arms. So why not take up the offer? Come to DigiFest, take a new step into the expanding the digital industry. Come to the Sunshine Coast, where many dream themselves to be.
