Why your business should sponsor Eastbourne DigiFest

Eastbourne DigiFest is coming to town on Friday 22nd September 2023 and it's set to be the first event of its kind in Eastbourne. This event will showcase the best of digital in our town and celebrate the thriving digital community that is emerging here.

Who is Eastbourne DigiFest for?

Eastbourne DigiFest is looking to attract businesses and individuals in Eastbourne and across the South East, including:

  • professionals working in, or with, local digital businesses

  • students taking their first steps on the career ladder

  • companies looking for new tech partners,

  • individuals looking to retrain in digital.

With a day of talks, workshops, town tours, and an exhibition at the Welcome Building in Eastbourne, we’re inviting the digital community to come and see our town and find out why reaching 10,000 digital jobs in Eastbourne is our target.

Why should you sponsor?

We're really looking to show off the best of Eastbourne, and you can have your name on that list. Our aim is to support economic growth in Eastbourne by raising the profile of Digital as a third sector after Hospitality and Tourism. You can be part of that journey with us.

…But in case you need more reason…

  1. In return for your sponsorship…
You'll be mentioned in our DigiFest newsletter to those who are registered to hear from us about the event, be featured on our DigiFest Supporters page on our website, be featured on social media for Chalk Eastbourne (600+ followers on Instagram and Twitter), have the opportunity to display a pop-up banner at the event, and receive two tickets to attend.

  2. You can raise your profile in the community.
Sponsoring Eastbourne DigiFest is an excellent way to raise your company's profile in the local community. By sponsoring the event, you'll be associating your brand with one of the most innovative and exciting events in the town, and you'll be showing your commitment to supporting the local digital community.

  3. You’ll have the opportunity to connect with potential customers and clients
Eastbourne DigiFest is expected to attract a diverse range of attendees, including local businesses, freelance professionals, students, and digital enthusiasts. Sponsoring the event is an excellent opportunity to connect with potential customers and clients who are interested in digital and technology.

  4. You’ll attract talent to your business
By showing your commitment to the local digital scene, you'll be demonstrating to potential employees that your company is innovative, forward-thinking, and committed to investing in the development of its employees.

  5. You can be part of a community of like-minded businesses
Sponsoring Eastbourne DigiFest is an opportunity to be part of a community of like-minded businesses that are committed to supporting the local digital scene. By sponsoring the event, you'll be connecting with other businesses that share your values and vision for the future of the town.

Who is organising this event?

Chalk Eastbourne is the digital business community group behind the event, led by custom software firm Switchplane, but with fantastic support from Eastbourne Chamber, PRG Ltd, Recursive Digital, FOUNDRY, Racquet Studios, Fountain Digital and other businesses and well-placed individuals.

We've been working together for the last three years to change the perception of Eastbourne, support local talent, and make recruitment for our sector easier. We have no public funding as a community group, but we're full of passion and motivation for the future of digital and for our town.
